Notes:	Ancient Greek "praiseworthy". NT Acts 9:33-34. This spelling variant of Aeneas was Scottish for a time but now generally superseded by Angus. Aeneas Aneas and Eneas all occur extremely rarely in the 1841 Census of Aberdeenshire. However Aeneas was used as a Latinised version of Angus in many old documents.
